Frequently asked questions
Is Speekr free?
Up to 150 words per script. As many readings and takes as you like. No Speekr account. Monthly and annual plans remove the word limit. Prices and any eligible free trial are shown in the app before purchase.
How does the text follow my voice?
Speekr uses Apple speech recognition to find your position in the script. Choose the language you will read, then speak naturally. Scrolling follows the recognized words.
Can I read and record at the same time?
Yes. Video mode records picture and sound as you read. Pausing or finishing the text does not stop the video: use the stop button to finish your take.
Does Speekr work offline?
On-device speech processing is preferred when available. Depending on your language and device, Apple services may require the internet. Offline voice following is not guaranteed.
What happens to my scripts and videos?
Your draft stays on your device. Videos are added to Photos; if saving fails, Speekr keeps the take so you can retry or export it. The publisher receives neither your scripts nor recordings.
